The Botanical Society of America and PUI section are pleased to give 8 travel awards in the amount of $250 each to the BOTANY 2023 - One World conference in Boise, Idaho. A PUI is defined as colleges and universities that award fewer than 20 Ph.D. degrees in all NSF-supported fields during a two-year period. PUI faculty and future faculty (e.g. graduate students and post-docs) who conduct (or will conduct) mentored undergraduate research are strongly encouraged to apply. U.S. Residency is not a requirement to apply.
You must have a current BSA membership in order to apply.

APPLICATIONS: Applications must be submitted through our BSA Awards portal, and you will need your current BSA Username/Botany ID and password in order to submit.
In the award submission, you will be required to provide your name, institutional affiliation, address and email, and a short statement (100-200 words) about why attendance and participation in PUI Section sponsored events would benefit your professional development. Applicants will also submit a current resume or CV. Please submit your application all in one PDF file.

Current BSA members can access the awards portal by clicking here and logging in with your BotanyID/Password. Once signed in, click on the "BOTANY 2023 - PUI Faculty and Future Faculty Conference Award" link and you should see a blue button that says "+ Create New Nomination" at the bottom if your login was successful.
