May 8, 2024
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Description:

Longwood Gardens Fellowship Flyer

Join Sharon Thompsonowak, Ed.D, Director, Fellows Program and a current Fellow as they talk about what to expect in the Longwood Gardens Fellow Program. This conversation will take place on Zoom, May 8, 2024 from 1–2pm EST.

The Fellows Program prepares high-potential professionals for high-impact roles in public horticulture.

Through this 13-month, fully funded, cohort-based residency, Fellows delve into current issues relevant to public horticulture, hone their leadership skills, learn from experts, and get hands-on experience at Longwood and in a two-month placement with a partner organization. Along the way, Fellows increase their knowledge, expand their networks, and grow their capacity to lead organizations that are strategic, resilient, equitable, and thriving.

The Program is guided by the legacy of visionary business leader Pierre S. du Pont and grafts theory with practice in a project-based exploration of leadership, organizational behavior, and nonprofit management.

Applications are open from June 1 – July 31.
